This role involves driving vehicle sales through proactive customer engagement, lead generation, and managing the end-to-end sales process at the dealership. The focus is on converting showroom walk-ins and field inquiries into successful vehicle deliveries while ensuring a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial inquiry and product demonstration to final vehicle delivery.
- Conduct professional test drives for prospective customers while highlighting key vehicle features and safety aspects.
- Explain finance options, insurance products, and value-added services like extended warranty and AMC to customers.
- Maintain daily updates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Dealer Management System (DMS) regarding lead status.
- Execute consistent follow-ups with potential buyers through tele-calling, emails, and home visits to maximize conversion rates.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure vehicles are ready and meet quality standards before delivery.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, roadshows, and corporate displays to generate new leads.
- Collaborate with the exchange department to facilitate old vehicle evaluations for customers looking to upgrade.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in any stream or 12th pass with minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license and ownership of a personal vehicle for field visits.
- Fluency in the local language and functional knowledge of English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven environment with a standard 6-day work week.
- Basic proficiency in mobile applications and computer software like MS Excel.
Preferred
- Previous experience in automotive sales or the retail sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the local geographical area and customer demographics.
- Existing knowledge of automotive financing and RTO documentation processes.

Qualifications
