This role involves driving vehicle sales by identifying potential customers, conducting professional product demonstrations, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. It focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while consistently meeting monthly retail targets within a high-energy showroom environment.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand their requirements and provide detailed product walkarounds.
Generate new leads through proactive field activities, corporate visits, and digital inquiry follow-ups.
Schedule and conduct vehicle test drives while explaining technical specifications and safety features.
Manage the complete documentation process including booking, finance coordination, and insurance paperwork.
Maintain accurate and timely records of all customer interactions in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
Cross-sell value-added services such as extended warranty, accessories, and annual maintenance contracts.
Participate in weekend sales melas, canopy activities, and roadshows to increase brand visibility.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory; a four-wheeler license is highly preferred.
Fluency in the local regional language and functional English communication skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a target-oriented mindset.
Flexibility to work on weekends and participate in outdoor marketing activities.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and lead management.
Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership network.
Basic knowledge of vehicle finance schemes and IRDA insurance norms.
Proven ability to handle HNI (High Net-worth Individual) clients and premium product segments.

Standard showroom operations, 6 days a week, typically 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Requires on-site presence and occasional travel for field visits.
High performers can transition into Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader roles within 2-3 years, with potential movement into Corporate Sales or Exchange departments.
