This role involves performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety for our customers. It requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing mechanical issues and executing precise technical solutions while strictly adhering to OEM quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to manufacturer schedules.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues in engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems using advanced diagnostic scanners.
- Execute electrical system troubleshooting, battery maintenance, and wiring repairs as per technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts utilized within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Ensure all repairs are completed within the stipulated standard labor time (SLT) provided by the manufacturer to maintain workshop efficiency.
- Participate in periodic technical training sessions conducted by the OEM to stay updated on new models and emerging automotive technologies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work bay while adhering to all workshop safety and environmental protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic in an authorized dealership or a reputed multi-brand workshop.
- Strong functional knowledge of internal combustion engines and vehicle powertrain components.
- Proficiency in using manual, pneumatic, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Valid driving license for four-wheelers to conduct post-repair test drives.
- Basic understanding of workshop safety standards and waste disposal regulations.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with specific OEM diagnostic software and computerized scanning tools.
- Previous experience working with major brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra.
- Preliminary knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) components and high-voltage safety awareness.

Qualifications
Education: ITI in Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV) or Diesel Mechanic; or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering

Certifications: OEM Technical Certification, Pollution Under Control (PUC) operation certification (optional)
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role within a high-volume workshop environment. The standard working week is 6 days, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
