This role acts as the primary liaison between customers, insurance companies, and the workshop for all accidental vehicle repairs and bodywork. It involves assessing damage, managing insurance claims, and ensuring vehicles are restored to OEM standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough damage assessments and prepare accurate repair estimates using the Dealership Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors for vehicle inspections, claim processing, and obtaining necessary approvals for cashless or reimbursement repairs.
- Explain the scope of work, repair timelines, and cost estimates clearly to customers, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
- Monitor the vehicle's progress through denting, painting, and finishing stages to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Manage the procurement of required body parts and consumables in coordination with the spare parts department.
- Handle customer grievances related to repair quality or delays with empathy and professional resolution.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for all insurance claims, job cards, and internal workshop records.
- Conduct final inspections and road tests after repairs to ensure the vehicle meets safety and aesthetic standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Body Shop Advisor or Service Advisor in an authorized dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive body structures, denting techniques, and paint processes.
- Proficiency in coordinating with insurance companies and understanding IRDA norms for claims.
- Experience using DMS software for job card opening, estimation, and billing.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for vehicle movement and testing.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with strict delivery deadlines.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a premium or luxury automotive brand.
- Certification in automotive damage estimation or insurance assessment.
- Multilingual skills (English, Hindi, and local language) for effective customer communication.

Qualifications
Education
