Sales Consultant

This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by identifying customer needs and providing exceptional service throughout the car-buying journey. It involves managing the end-to-end sales process from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage showroom walk-ins and digital leads to convert potential prospects into retail customers.
• Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and accompany customers on test drives to highlight key features and safety benefits.
• Maintain and update accurate customer data and follow-up schedules within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Explain finance, insurance, and accessory options to customers to provide a comprehensive purchase solution.
• Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery for the customer.
• Achieve monthly sales targets for new vehicles, insurance renewals, and extended warranties.
• Collect and submit all necessary KYC documentation for RTO registration and bank loan processing.
• Participate in outdoor promotional activities, roadshows, and corporate displays to generate new leads.

Requirements

• Completed Graduation in any stream (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, etc.)
• Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory
• Fluency in the local regional language and functional English
• Willingness to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional appearance and grooming standards appropriate for a showroom

Preferred

• Basic understanding of automotive technology and current Indian market trends
• Previous internship or part-time experience in retail, hospitality, or direct sales
• Familiarity with digital tools and social media for lead generation

Technical

Qualifications

Education: Any Graduate degree from a recognized university

Experience: 0-1 years of experience in Sales or Customer-facing roles

Certifications: Valid Four-Wheeler Driving License

Work Environment

On-site showroom role with standard 6-day working weeks. Requires standing for long periods and occasional field visits for home test drives or corporate events.

Growth Opportunities

Successful candidates can progress to Senior Sales Consultant or Product Specialist roles. Within 3-5 years, high performers are eligible for Team Leader or Assistant Sales Manager positions within the dealer network.
