Facilitates the end-to-end vehicle restoration process by managing insurance claims and technical repair estimations. This role acts as the primary point of contact for vehicle owners and insurance surveyors to ensure seamless communication and high-quality bodywork delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to estimate repair costs and labor hours accurately for accidental damage.
- Manage the entire insurance claim process, including documentation, surveyor coordination, and digital uploads to insurance portals.
- Communicate repair timelines and cost breakdowns clearly to customers while ensuring high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Coordinate with the workshop foreman and spare parts department to ensure availability of required components for body repairs.
- Explain technical repair procedures and paint quality standards to customers to build trust and transparency.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) on the shop floor to ensure timely vehicle delivery as per the promised date.
- Maintain comprehensive records of insurance approvals, supplementary estimates, and final bill settlements.
- Promote value-added services such as ceramic coating, underbody protection, and anti-rust treatments.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in an authorized automotive bodyshop or workshop environment.
- Basic understanding of automotive body structures, denting, and painting processes.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license for moving vehicles within the workshop premises.
- Strong communication skills in the local language and English.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult customer negotiations.
Preferred
- Experience with OEM-specific estimation software or tools like Audatex.
- Previous experience handling cashless insurance claims with major Indian insurance providers.
- Knowledge of IRDA guidelines regarding motor insurance and depreciation slabs.

Work Environment
Standard 6-day work week on-site at an authorized dealership workshop, involving both office-based documentation and shop-floor vehicle inspections.
