This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by engaging with showroom walk-ins and proactively managing lead generation through multiple channels. It involves understanding customer needs to recommend suitable models while ensuring a seamless purchase journey from initial enquiry to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage showroom walk-ins and provide detailed demonstrations of vehicle features, technical specifications, and USPs.
- Conduct professional test drives for prospective customers while adhering to safety protocols and route guidelines.
- Execute consistent follow-ups on leads generated via digital platforms, cold calls, and field activities to maximize conversion.
- Guide customers through the documentation process for vehicle finance, insurance, and RTO registration.
- Achieve monthly individual sales targets for vehicles, genuine accessories, and value-added services.
- Update and maintain the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate customer interaction logs and pipeline status.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) teams to ensure error-free and timely vehicle delivery.
- Participate in outdoor marketing events, roadshows, and corporate displays to generate new prospects.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in the local language and functional English.
- A valid two-wheeler driving license and a personal vehicle for local travel.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of retail finance schemes and insurance products.
- Proficiency in using CRM software or OEM-specific Dealer Management Systems.

Education

Experience
