This role involves driving vehicle sales through proactive lead generation and customer engagement at an authorized dealership. The focus is on delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving monthly retail targets and maintaining strong relationships with prospective buyers.
Identify and develop new sales opportunities through cold calling, field visits, and digital lead follow-ups.
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives for prospective customers while explaining technical features.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead qualification, price negotiation, and final booking documentation.
Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to facilitate loan approvals and insurance policies for customers.
Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate customer interactions and pipeline status.
Organize and participate in local marketing activities such as canopy events, roadshows, and corporate displays.
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure high customer satisfaction scores (CSI).
Monitor competitor activities and local market trends to provide feedback to the Sales Manager.
Any Graduate degree from a recognized university.
1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in driving manual/automatic vehicles.
Fluency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
Willingness to work 6 days a week and participate in field-based activities.
Previous experience working with a major OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) brand.
Familiarity with CRM software or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Knowledge of automotive financing, RTO processes, and insurance documentation.

Education: Graduate (B.A., B.Com., BBA, or equivalent)

On-site dealership environment with frequent field visits for customer meetings and promotional events. Standard 6-day work week applies.
High-performing Sales Officers are eligible for promotion to Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader roles within 24 months. Opportunities also exist for lateral movement into Corporate Sales or Exchange/Pre-owned vehicle divisions.
