role focuses on driving dealership revenue by identifying potential customers and guiding them through the entire vehicle purchase journey. It involves managing the sales funnel from initial inquiry to final delivery while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Identify and reach out to prospective customers through cold calling, lead follow-ups, and showroom walk-ins.
Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives to highlight vehicle features and performance.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including price negotiations, documentation, and coordination with the finance and insurance departments.This
Maintain and update customer interactions and lead status daily in the Dealer Management System (DMS) or CRM software.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new vehicles, accessories, and value-added services.
Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery to customers.
Execute post-delivery follow-ups to gather feedback and generate referrals for future business.
Participate in outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and local events to increase brand visibility.
Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
Fluency in the local regional language and functional English.
Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market and competitor landscape.
Availability to work 6 days a week, including weekends.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Previous experience working with a major OEM dealership (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra).
Valid IRDA certification for insurance sales.
In-depth knowledge of retail finance schemes and exchange processes.
Dealer Management System (DMS) proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook), Technical understanding of automobile specifications, CRM Lead Management
Active listening, Persuasive communication, Interpersonal relationship building, Resilience and target-driven mindset, Professional grooming and etiquette
Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com, BBA, B.A., B.Sc.); MBA in Marketing is a plus.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in front-end sales.
Certifications: Valid Four-Wheeler Driving License, OEM Sales Certification (Optional)
Standard showroom environment with frequent local travel for test drives, home visits, and outdoor promotional activities.
High-performing executives can progress to Senior Sales Consultant, Team Leader, or Assistant Sales Manager roles within 2-4 years based on consistent target achievement.
