This role involves delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while adhering to strict original equipment manufacturer guidelines. It focuses on performing detailed inspections, periodic servicing, and mechanical repairs to ensure peak vehicle performance and safety for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS) and general repairs as per the job card instructions provided by the Service Advisor.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and OBD scanners to identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults accurately.
- Execute repairs on engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems using specialized OEM tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work bay while ensuring all workshop safety protocols and environmental standards are followed.
- Document all work performed, parts replaced, and lubricants used accurately within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Conduct final inspections and short test drives to verify the quality of repairs before vehicle delivery.
- Collaborate with the spare parts department to ensure the timely availability of components required for ongoing repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an authorized OEM workshop environment.
- In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines, drivetrain, and automotive electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license to perform vehicle movements and test drives.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced workshop environment with a 6-day work week.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra authorized service centers.
- Basic understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) components and high-voltage safety.
- Knowledge of wheel alignment and balancing machine operations.

Work Environment
