This role involves driving vehicle sales by providing exceptional product demonstrations and personalized customer service to prospective buyers. It focuses on managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to final delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives for prospective buyers to highlight vehicle features.
- Manage the lead generation process through cold calling, showroom walk-ins, and digital inquiries using the CRM software.
- Assist customers with vehicle selection, financing options, insurance requirements, and exchange evaluations.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and workshop teams for timely Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and vehicle preparation.
- Execute the final delivery process including all legal documentation and ceremonial vehicle handovers.
- Maintain consistent post-sales follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and solicit referrals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly retail targets as defined by the dealership management and the OEM.
- Stay updated on competitor models, market trends, and current OEM schemes or discount structures.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in any stream (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, or BBA) from a recognized university.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Proficiency in the local language and functional English for effective communication.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office (Excel/Word).
- Willingness to work a 6-day week including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership.
- Certification in professional sales or customer relationship management.
- Working knowledge of vehicle financing, RTO processes, and insurance documentation.
- Experience using Dealership Management Systems (DMS) like SAP or Oracle.
