This leadership role involves spearheading the entire sales operations of an authorized dealership to drive revenue growth and market penetration. It focuses on strategic planning, P&L management, and maintaining high-level relationships with the OEM to ensure brand standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual volume targets for new vehicles.
- Manage the overall Sales P&L, including operating expenses, margins, and incentive structures.
- Lead and mentor a large team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders, ensuring high morale and performance standards.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM standards regarding showroom hygiene, customer experience, and digital lead management.
- Oversee the inventory management process to maintain optimum stock levels and minimize interest costs.
- Drive high scores in Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) through process excellence.
- Liaise with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to ensure seamless delivery and payout processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the Indian Automotive Sales sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and modern CRM tools.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume retail operations or premium luxury segments.
- Excellent understanding of the local automotive market and regional consumer behavior.
- Strong command over English and the local regional language.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred
- Experience working with top-tier Indian or Global OEMs (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in digital lead conversion and performance marketing analytics.
- Previous exposure to network expansion or setting up new dealership outlets.

Work Environment
This is an on-site leadership role based at the dealership. It follows the standard Indian automotive industry schedule of 6 days a week, with peak activity during weekends and festive seasons.
