This role involves spearheading the dealership's sales operations to achieve ambitious volume and revenue targets while ensuring premium customer experiences. The focus is on driving team performance, managing inventory levels, and maintaining strong relationships with the OEM to align with national brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans to meet dealership volume and profitability targets.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to enhance productivity and professional growth.
- Analyze showroom walk-ins, digital leads, and conversion ratios to optimize the sales funnel via the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Monitor inventory aging and coordinate with the OEM for timely stock replenishment and model-wise allocation.
- Oversee the end-to-end customer delivery process (PDIs to Gate-pass) ensuring 100% compliance with brand standards.
- Collaborate with the F&I department to maximize insurance and finance penetration per vehicle sold.
- Implement local marketing activities, corporate tie-ups, and exchange melas to generate high-quality leads.
- Ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) scores through proactive grievance redressal.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Automotive Sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a competitive dealership environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian automotive market trends and competitor benchmarking.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software.
- Excellent command over the local language and professional English.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel for field activities.
Preferred
- Experience working with Tier-1 Passenger Vehicle or Luxury Car OEMs.
- Strong network with local corporate clients and Small/Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams of 15+ members.
- Prior experience in handling exchange (pre-owned) car business operations.

Standard dealership showroom environment with a 6-day work week. Requires high energy and presence on the shop floor during peak hours and weekends.
