This leadership role focuses on driving revenue growth and market share by overseeing the end-to-end retail operations of the dealership. The focus is on implementing strategic sales initiatives, managing high-performing teams, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction in alignment with OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to achieve monthly and quarterly retail and wholesale targets.
- Develop and execute local marketing and sales strategies to increase showroom walk-ins and lead generation.
- Monitor and manage dealership inventory levels to ensure optimal stock turnover and minimize aging stock.
- Oversee the Lead Management System (LMS) and CRM to track conversion ratios and ensure timely follow-ups by the team.
- Ensure strict compliance with OEM brand guidelines, sales processes, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide actionable insights for pricing and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with Finance and Insurance (F&I) partners to maximize value-added service penetration and dealership profitability.
- Resolve escalated customer grievances to maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and brand loyalty.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in automotive retail sales with a proven track record of target achievement.
- In-depth knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software operations.
- Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market, including financing and insurance regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse sales force.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel for corporate meetings or events.
- Proficiency in English and the local language of the region.
- Strong analytical skills for performance reporting and P&L management.
Preferred
- Experience working with a major Indian or Global OEM (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Existing network within local corporate and fleet segments.
- Advanced certification in Sales Management or Leadership from a recognized institute.

Work Environment
Professional showroom environment with a 6-day work week. Requires high energy and presence on the floor during peak hours and weekends.
