This role oversees the complete employee lifecycle, from strategic talent acquisition for dealership teams to ensuring strict adherence to statutory labor regulations. It focuses on fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with both organizational goals and OEM standards to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles including Sales Consultants, Technicians, and Service Advisors to meet manpower productivity targets.
- Oversee monthly payroll administration, ensuring accurate calculation of performance-linked incentives and statutory deductions.
- Ensure 100% adherence to Indian Labor Laws including PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and Shop & Establishment Act requirements.
- Coordinate with OEM training academies to ensure all technical and non-technical staff complete mandatory certification programs.
- Execute the annual performance appraisal process, aligning individual KPIs with dealership sales and service benchmarks.
- Maintain employee records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and internal HRMS while managing attendance and leave policies.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and grievance redressal mechanisms to maintain a positive work environment at showrooms and workshops.
- Liaise with external vendors for outsourced manpower, security, and facility management services.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the Indian Automotive retail or manufacturing sector.
- Thorough knowledge of Indian statutory compliance and regional labor regulations.
- Proven track record in high-volume recruitment for sales and technical roles.
- Expertise in managing payroll and incentive structures common in dealership environments.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for HR reporting and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
Preferred
- Experience in handling Industrial Relations (IR) within a workshop or plant setting.
- Familiarity with OEM-specific HR audits and manpower standards.
- Hands-on experience with popular HRMS platforms like Darwinbox, GreytHR, or Keka.

Qualifications
