This role acts as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless vehicle service experience. It involves diagnosing customer concerns, providing technical explanations, and managing the end-to-end service lifecycle to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle walk-around inspections and document findings on the job card.
- Interact with customers to understand vehicle issues and provide accurate cost and time estimates.
- Open and manage job cards within the Dealer Management System (DMS) ensuring detailed technician instructions.
- Coordinate with the workshop floor supervisor to track repair progress and update customers proactively.
- Promote and upsell value-added services, genuine accessories, and AMC packages to meet revenue targets.
- Perform final quality checks and explain the detailed invoice to the customer during vehicle delivery.
- Manage Post-Service Follow-ups (PSF) to resolve any grievances and ensure repeat visits.
- Handle insurance claim documentation and coordination for accidental repair vehicles.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an authorized automobile dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and routine maintenance schedules.
- Proficiency in operating Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or RevUp.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult customer interactions.
Preferred
- Experience working with major OEMs like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra.
- Basic understanding of insurance claim processing and cashless garage workflows.
- Certification from an OEM for Service Advisor training programs.

Qualifications

Work Environment
Professional workshop environment with a standard 6-day work week. On-site presence is required to interact with customers and inspect vehicles.
