This role focuses on driving vehicle retail sales and enhancing the brand's market presence through proactive customer engagement. It involves managing the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and product demonstrations to final vehicle delivery and post-sales follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new vehicles as defined by the dealership and OEM.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and test drives, highlighting key features and USPs to prospective buyers.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate lead data, follow-up history, and customer profiles.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to assist customers with loan documentation and insurance policies.
- Perform outdoor marketing activities, including corporate displays, apartment activations, and cold calling to generate new leads.
- Ensure a premium delivery experience for customers by coordinating with the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and registration teams.
- Collect and report market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, schemes, and new launches.
- Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and solicit referrals for future business.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sectors.
- A valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Excellent command over the local language and functional English communication.
- Comfortable working in a 6-day work week environment, including weekends.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills specific to the Indian consumer mindset.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (Car/Two-Wheeler).
- Existing network of corporate clients or local influencers.
- Familiarity with digital lead management tools and social media for prospecting.

Qualifications

Work Environment
The role is primarily on-site at the showroom with frequent field visits for corporate demos and local marketing activities. Standard 6-day work week with rotational offs.
