This role involves driving dealership growth by managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery. The focus is on providing expert product consultations, conducting professional test drives, and achieving monthly retail targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert leads generated through digital platforms, walk-ins, and referrals using the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and vehicle walkthroughs to highlight technical features and USPs.
- Organize and execute customer test drives while following all safety protocols and OEM guidelines.
- Guide customers through the financing process, insurance options, and exchange evaluations to provide a one-stop solution.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for new vehicles, accessories, extended warranties, and annual maintenance contracts.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospective buyers to ensure a high enquiry-to-booking conversion ratio.
- Coordinate with the workshop and stockyard teams for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and ensure a seamless vehicle delivery ceremony.
- Participate in local marketing activities, including corporate displays, mall activations, and roadshows.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in the local regional language and professional proficiency in English.
- Working knowledge of CRM software and basic MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle customer objections effectively.
- Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on monthly closures.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a reputed Automotive OEM dealership.
- Basic understanding of RTO documentation and automotive insurance processes.
- Existing knowledge of the local automotive market and competitor products.
