This role involves the efficient retrieval and organization of automotive components within the warehouse to support workshop and retail operations. It focuses on ensuring that all orders are fulfilled with high accuracy and speed to maintain a seamless workflow for the technical team and external customers.
Locate and retrieve automotive parts from designated bin locations using pick lists generated by the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Verify part numbers and descriptions against physical stock to ensure 100% accuracy in order fulfillment.
Assist in the receiving process by unloading shipments and checking items against invoices for any damages or discrepancies.
Maintain organized and clean bin locations, ensuring that all parts are stored according to OEM safety and storage standards.
Pack and label parts securely for dispatch to the workshop floor or for counter sales to prevent transit damage.
Participate in daily and monthly physical stock verification and inventory counting cycles.
Report low stock levels or inventory mismatches to the Parts Manager immediately to prevent service delays.
Operate basic material handling equipment safely within the warehouse premises.
Successful completion of 10th or 12th standard from a recognized board.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift, move, and organize heavy automotive components.
Basic understanding of automotive parts and their general nomenclature.
Strong attention to detail to differentiate between similar part numbers.
Ability to read and understand basic English for part identification and system usage.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced workshop warehouse environment.
ITI Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical trade.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
Previous experience in a warehouse, hardware store, or automotive spare parts outlet.

On-site warehouse/workshop setting with a standard 6-day work week. The role involves standing for extended periods and manual handling of stock.
Career progression paths include Senior Parts Picker, Parts Advisor, Inventory Controller, and eventually Parts Manager within the dealership network.
