This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for prospective car buyers, guiding them through the entire purchase journey from initial inquiry to final delivery. It requires a proactive approach to lead generation and a commitment to maintaining high customer satisfaction standards within a competitive retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and digital inquiries to identify needs and recommend suitable vehicle models.
- Conduct professional test drives while explaining key features, safety ratings, and performance specifications.
- Handle the end-to-end sales process including price negotiation, financing options, and insurance documentation.
- Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and follow-ups in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) teams to ensure timely and defect-free vehicle delivery.
- Execute post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and generate high-quality referrals.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, mall displays, and corporate sales events to build a healthy lead pipeline.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sectors.
- Must possess a valid permanent four-wheeler driving license.
- Fluency in the local language and functional proficiency in English.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with authorized OEM dealerships (e.g., Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra).
- In-depth knowledge of retail finance, EMI calculations, and insurance products.
- Prior experience using CRM tools or SAP-based Dealer Management Systems.
