This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for digital enquiries, ensuring that every potential customer receives a premium first impression of our automotive brand. You will focus on nurturing leads from various digital platforms and converting interest into showroom visits through professional communication and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to inbound leads generated through social media, website, and digital advertising campaigns within specified turnaround times.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to understand their vehicle requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Schedule and coordinate showroom visits and home test drives, ensuring a seamless handover to the sales consultancy team.
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and lead statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM software.
- Execute follow-up call cycles for cold or dormant leads to nurture future sales opportunities and maintain brand recall.
- Provide accurate information regarding vehicle specifications, ongoing seasonal offers, and basic financing options to prospective buyers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales departments to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Handle customer queries and grievances professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction from the first point of contact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BBA, B.A., or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in telecalling, customer service, or a lead management role, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
- Fluency in the local language and professional proficiency in English.
- Proven ability to handle high volumes of calls while maintaining a polite and persuasive tone.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) and experience operating CRM or DMS platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple lead pipelines simultaneously.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized automobile dealership (OEM partner).
- Specific training in customer relationship management or soft skills communication.
- In-depth knowledge of current automotive market trends and competitor offerings in India.
