This role involves driving business growth by providing expert guidance to customers throughout their vehicle acquisition journey. It focuses on delivering high-quality service, building long-term client relationships, and meeting sales objectives in a competitive dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial inquiry and lead generation to vehicle delivery and post-sale follow-up.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and accompany customers on test drives to highlight key features and performance.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all customer interactions and lead statuses within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to assist customers with loan documentation and insurance policies.
- Execute proactive lead generation activities including cold calling, digital lead follow-ups, and participating in local marketing events.
- Ensure all delivery documentation, including RTO paperwork and invoicing, is completed accurately and as per OEM standards.
- Coordinate with the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for scheduled customer deliveries.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide feedback to the Sales Manager for strategy adjustment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, B.A., or equivalent).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive, hospitality, or banking sectors.
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a flexible schedule including weekends.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra dealership.
- Familiarity with CRM software and digital lead management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive technical specifications and financing options.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom. The standard workweek is 6 days, and the role requires frequent local travel for test drives and customer home visits.
