This role involves driving automotive sales performance by engaging with potential customers through the entire purchase lifecycle, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery. It focuses on providing expert product demonstrations and ensuring a seamless buying experience that aligns with brand standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle showroom walk-ins and generate new leads through proactive cold calling, field visits, and digital inquiry follow-ups.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives to highlight vehicle features and performance.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including price negotiation, finance coordination, and insurance cross-selling.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM software for lead tracking.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) teams to ensure timely vehicle preparation and delivery.
- Execute post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business or referrals.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and local marketing events to increase brand visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in automotive sales or a high-pressure retail sales environment.
- Must possess a valid four-wheeler driving license and demonstrate confident driving skills.
- Fluency in the local regional language and a working knowledge of English for professional communication.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Availability to work a standard 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor product offerings.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a leading automotive OEM dealership network.
- Basic understanding of automotive finance, IRDA insurance regulations, and RTO documentation.
- Experience using digital tools and social media platforms for lead generation.
