This role involves driving vehicle sales by identifying customer needs and providing expert product consultations within a high-energy showroom environment. The focus is on managing the complete customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed product demonstrations and organizing test drives for prospective customers.
- Generating and qualifying leads through cold calling, field visits, and digital lead management systems.
- Managing the end-to-end sales documentation process including booking, invoicing, and registration paperwork.
- Coordinating with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to provide customers with loan and insurance solutions.
- Maintaining consistent follow-ups with prospects via CRM tools to improve lead conversion ratios.
- Ensuring the showroom display vehicles are maintained in pristine condition and according to OEM standards.
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for vehicles, accessories, and value-added services.
- Collecting and reporting market intelligence regarding competitor activities and local market trends.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional English.
- Ability to work a 6-day week including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to handle diverse customer profiles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership.
- Knowledge of automotive financing and RTO (Regional Transport Office) procedures.
- Certification in sales or customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media lead generation.
