This role involves driving vehicle sales by providing exceptional customer service and expert product demonstrations to prospective buyers. It focuses on managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to final delivery while maintaining high standards of brand integrity and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and digital leads to convert them into confirmed bookings and vehicle deliveries.
- Conduct professional test drives and provide detailed explanations of vehicle features, safety standards, and performance specifications.
- Facilitate the documentation process for vehicle financing, insurance, and RTO registration in coordination with the F&I department.
- Maintain accurate and real-time records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and follow up consistently with prospective clients.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for vehicles, genuine accessories, and extended warranties.
- Coordinate with the workshop and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team to ensure timely and defect-free vehicle delivery to customers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate referrals and repeat business within the local market.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and local marketing events to generate new leads.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in automotive sales or high-value consumer durable retail.
- Excellent communication skills in the local regional language and professional proficiency in English.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and confidence in driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or standard CRM software.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on monthly performance metrics.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a reputed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) authorized dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of current automotive market trends and competitor models in India.
- Basic understanding of vehicle insurance (IRDA) and retail finance processes.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role at an authorized dealership showroom. The standard work schedule is 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including weekends, with a rotational week-off.
