This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for prospective buyers, guiding them through the entire vehicle purchase journey from initial inquiry to final delivery. It focuses on achieving monthly retail targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and brand representation within the showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet walk-in customers and handle digital inquiries to understand their vehicle requirements and budget.
- Provide detailed product demonstrations highlighting key features, safety specifications, and USPs of various models.
- Conduct professional test drives while ensuring all safety protocols and documentation are strictly followed.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process including price negotiation, financing options, and insurance coordination.
- Maintain and update the Lead Management System (LMS) or CRM daily to track prospect follow-ups and pipeline health.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery to customers.
- Achieve monthly sales volume targets and value-added service goals including accessories and extended warranty.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, roadshows, and corporate displays to generate new leads.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or consumer durable sectors.
- Valid permanent driving license for four-wheelers is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Proficiency in the local regional language and functional English for effective communication.
- Willingness to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
- Availability to work a 6-day week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional grooming and a customer-centric attitude.
Preferred
- Prior experience working in an OEM-authorized dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Basic understanding of automotive finance (DSA) and insurance processes.
- Existing knowledge of the local geographical market and customer demographics.
