This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential customers through showroom walk-ins and proactive field visits. It involves managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to vehicle delivery while ensuring high customer satisfaction scores and adherence to OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed product demonstrations and organizing test drives for prospective buyers to highlight vehicle features.
- Proactively generating leads through field activities, local events, referrals, and digital inquiries.
- Guiding customers through the complete purchase process, including vehicle financing, insurance options, and exchange evaluations.
- Maintaining and updating the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate customer interaction logs and follow-up schedules.
- Achieving monthly retail, booking, and value-added services (VAS) targets as defined by the Sales Manager.
- Coordinating with the stockyard and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) teams to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Participating in daily morning huddles to review targets, lead pipelines, and conversion ratios.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail environments.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting customer test drives.
- Strong proficiency in the local regional language and functional conversational English.
- Ability to work a standard 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Experience using smartphone-based CRM tools or mobile applications for lead tracking.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a result-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a major Indian OEM (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors).
- Knowledge of local automotive market trends and competitor model specifications.
- Existing network within the local territory for lead generation.
