ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring seamless day-to-day accounting operations within the dealership. It focuses on tax compliance, financial reporting, and supporting senior management in maintaining overall fiscal health through rigorous documentation and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions including cash, bank, and journal vouchers in Tally ERP 9/Prime.
• Manage GST compliance, including preparation of data for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and oversee petty cash management.
• Coordinate with sales and service departments for payment follow-ups and invoice verification.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and OEM partners.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for the dealership.
• Maintain systematic documentation and files for internal and statutory audits as per Indian accounting standards.
• Verify and process employee expense claims and payroll disbursements accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of core accounting experience in a retail or dealership environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
• Practical understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory Indian tax compliances.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, specifically using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Ability to work on-site for a standard 6-day dealership work week.
• Strong command over local language and functional English.

Preferred

• Previous experience working in an authorized automobile dealership (2W/4W/CV).
• Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
• Knowledge of professional tax and ESI/PF calculations.

Qualifications

Education: B.Com or M.Com from a recognized university

Experience: 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience

Certifications: Tally Certification, Diploma in Taxation (Optional)

Work Environment

Professional dealership office setting; 6-day work week (Monday-Saturday); standard shift timings (9:30 AM - 6:30 PM).
