This role focuses on the end-to-end maintenance and repair of premium motorcycles, ensuring every vehicle meets the brand's performance and safety standards. It involves diagnosing complex mechanical issues and performing precise engine work to deliver a superior riding experience to customers.
Perform periodic maintenance and major servicing for all Royal Enfield models including Bullet, Classic, and Himalayan.
Diagnose and rectify engine, gearbox, and clutch-related issues using specialized OEM tools.
Identify and resolve electrical system malfunctions, including EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) troubleshooting.
Execute suspension repairs, wheel truing, and brake system overhauling according to service manuals.
Conduct thorough test rides to verify repair quality and ensure rider safety.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and spare parts consumed in the Job Card.
Adhere to 5S standards to keep the workshop floor clean, organized, and safe.
Collaborate with the Service Advisor to explain technical issues and required repairs for customer transparency.
In-depth knowledge of Royal Enfield engines including UCE, LS410, and J-series.
Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and digital diagnostic scanners.
Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and electrical wiring diagrams.
Strong physical stamina to handle heavy-duty motorcycles throughout the work shift.
Valid two-wheeler driving license for conducting mandatory post-repair test rides.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional two-wheeler workshop.
Willingness to work a standard 6-day week in a high-volume service environment.
Previous experience working at an authorized Royal Enfield service center.
Advanced familiarity with BS6 engine technology and emission control systems.
Basic computer literacy for accessing digital parts catalogs or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Specialized training in engine restoration or customization.
Engine Overhauling, EFI Troubleshooting, Electrical Circuit Mapping, Wheel Truing, Brake System Maintenance, Diagnostic Tool Operation

Certifications: Royal Enfield Technical Certification (Bronze/Silver/Gold preferred), BS6 Technical Training Certification
On-site workshop environment with standard shift timings (typically 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM). Requires working with oils, lubricants, and heavy machinery in a fast-paced setting.
Successful candidates can advance to Senior Technician, Floor Supervisor, or Workshop Manager roles within the authorized dealership network.
