Key Responsibilities
- Oversee entire sales operations for the dealership including retail, corporate, and exchange departments to ensure P&L targets are met.
- Maintain and strengthen the relationship with the OEM regional office, ensuring compliance with brand standards and incentive programs.
- Develop and implement annual business plans, including manpower planning, marketing budgets, and infrastructure requirements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies in real-time.
- Lead and mentor a large team of Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Consultants to drive productivity and career progression.
- Ensure rigorous utilization of the Dealer Management System (DMS) for lead tracking, inventory management, and sales forecasting.
- Drive the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) through process improvements and grievance redressal.
Requirements
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in the Indian automotive sector, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale sales volumes and multi-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of the Indian automotive market dynamics, financing, and insurance processes.
- Expertise in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like SAP, Autoline, or Rev9.
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills with corporate clients and financial institutions.
- Willingness to work a standard 6-day week in an on-site dealership environment.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands in the Indian market.
- Existing relationships with regional OEM representatives and local banks/NBFCs.
- Previous experience in managing multi-location dealership outlets.
