This role focuses on helping our valued customers navigate their vehicle protection options while ensuring every new car delivery is backed by the best coverage available. You will be the friendly face who manages renewals, processes claims efficiently, and maintains our reputation for reliability and trust in the automotive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end motor insurance renewals for existing customers through proactive follow-ups and reminders.
- Provide expert guidance to new vehicle buyers on various insurance policies, add-ons, and bundled protection plans.
- Coordinate closely with insurance partners to ensure timely policy issuance and error-free documentation.
- Assist customers through the claims process, acting as a liaison between the workshop and the insurance provider.
- Maintain accurate digital records in the Dealership Management System (DMS) and prepare daily reports on premium collections.
- Stay updated on IRDAI regulations and OEM insurance programs to provide accurate advice to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure insurance is integrated seamlessly into the vehicle delivery process.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in motor insurance within an authorized dealership or insurance brokerage.
- Graduate degree in any stream (B.Com preferred) from a recognized university.
- Deep understanding of motor insurance terminologies, IDV calculations, and claim procedures.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, particularly Excel, and exposure to CRM/DMS software.
- Excellent communication skills in the local language and English to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment while maintaining high service standards.
Preferred
- Possession of a valid IRDAI certification (Composite or General Insurance).
- Experience working with major Indian insurance providers like ICICI Lombard, HDFC ERGO, or Bajaj Allianz.
- Proven track record of maintaining high renewal conversion rates in previous roles.
