Spares Manager

We are looking for someone who can keep our workshop inventory running smoothly and ensure our customers get the right parts at the right time. You will be the go-to person for managing stock levels, coordinating with OEMs, and supporting our service team to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of spare parts inventory, from procurement to final dispatch
• Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid parts shortages while preventing overstocking
• Coordinate closely with the OEM for parts ordering, returns, and warranty claims
• Ensure the DMS (Dealer Management System) is updated in real-time with accurate inventory data
• Conduct regular physical stock audits to ensure zero variance between system and actual inventory
• Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and suggest strategies to liquidate them
• Support the service advisors by providing timely parts availability status for ongoing repairs

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in spare parts management within an automotive dealership
• Hands-on experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
• Strong understanding of automotive parts categorization and cataloging
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations during peak workshop hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting
• Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license

Preferred

• Prior experience with specific OEM parts software
• Knowledge of local automotive market trends and supplier networks
• Certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain processes

Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Graduate in any stream; candidates with a background in Automobile/Mechanical engineering are preferred.

Certifications: OEM-specific parts training certificates (if available)

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our dealership facility. You will work in a fast-paced environment, typically following a 6-day work week with standard business hours.
