This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the workshop, bridging the gap between technical teams and vehicle owners. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless service experience, maintaining high customer satisfaction scores, and managing the end-to-end service documentation process.
Greet customers promptly and conduct a thorough walk-around inspection to identify vehicle issues.
Prepare accurate repair estimates and obtain customer approval for jobs, ensuring transparency in billing.
Coordinate with the workshop floor to monitor repair progress and ensure timely vehicle delivery.
Provide technical explanations to customers regarding required repairs and maintenance schedules.
Maintain complete and accurate service records within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Conduct quality checks upon job completion and explain the invoice details to the customer.
Proactively follow up with customers for feedback and future service reminders to enhance retention.
1-3 years of experience in an authorized automotive service center.
Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for job card management.
Strong understanding of automotive service processes and basic mechanical terminology.
Ability to handle customer grievances and resolve issues with a professional demeanor.
Proficiency in local language and English for effective communication.
Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
Prior experience with OEM-specific service standards.
Basic knowledge of warranty claim processes.
Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities for value-added services (VAS).
DMS Software proficiency, Automotive repair diagnosis, Warranty process knowledge, Repair estimation and billing
Customer relationship management, Conflict resolution, Effective communication, Time management, Attention to detail
Education: Diploma or ITI in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years in an authorized automotive dealership
Certifications: OEM-specific Service Advisor Certification (Preferred)
On-site at a busy automotive workshop environment requiring 6 days of work per week with rotational shifts as per branch requirements.
