Job Description

Acts as the primary interface between the customer and the service workshop, ensuring a seamless vehicle maintenance experience. This role focuses on diagnosing customer needs, providing accurate estimates, and maintaining high standards of service delivery to build long-term brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting detailed vehicle inspections and preparing comprehensive Job Cards in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Providing customers with accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinating with the workshop floor supervisor and technicians to track the progress of vehicles.
  • Promoting and upselling value-added services, genuine parts, and extended warranties to customers.
  • Explaining technical repairs and final invoices clearly to customers during vehicle delivery.
  • Managing customer queries and grievances professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Maintaining post-service follow-up schedules to gather feedback and ensure service quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with OEM standards and workshop safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in the local language and functional English communication.
  • Basic understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or similar CRM software.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced workshop environment.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for customer handling.

Preferred

  • Previous experience with a reputed Automotive OEM dealership.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance claim processes and documentation.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and latest automotive technology trends.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; ITI (Motor Mechanic Vehicle) also considered.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in an automotive service or workshop environment.

Certifications: OEM Service Advisor Certification, Customer Service Excellence Certification

Work Environment

On-site at an authorized service center with a professional, customer-centric culture. The role involves 6 days of work per week with a focus on team collaboration and safety.
