Job Description

This role involves driving retail growth by engaging with prospective car buyers and delivering a premium consultative sales experience. It focuses on building lasting customer relationships while representing a market-leading automotive brand in a supportive and performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial walk-in or lead inquiry to final vehicle delivery.

  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives while explaining technical features and USPs.

  • Generate new leads through field activities, corporate visits, and digital platform follow-ups.

  • Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to facilitate loan processing and insurance documentation for customers.

  • Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and sales pipelines in the Dealer Management System (DMS).

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly retail targets for new vehicles, accessories, and value-added services.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to maintain the dealership's Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.

  • Participate in showroom events, outdoor displays, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in driving.

  • Excellent communication skills in the local language and English.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.

  • Availability to work 6 days a week in a high-energy showroom environment.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Preferred

  • Previous experience with an authorized OEM dealership.

  • In-depth knowledge of current Indian automotive market trends and competitor models.

  • Certification in sales or customer relationship management.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate in any discipline (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc.) or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in direct sales or business development.

Certifications: OEM Sales Training Certification (Preferred), Valid Indian Four-Wheeler Driving License (Mandatory)
