This role involves driving vehicle sales by building strong customer relationships and providing expert product demonstrations at an authorized dealership. The position manages the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to vehicle delivery while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and strict adherence to OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and test drives to showcase vehicle features, safety ratings, and performance to prospective buyers.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead prospecting, regular follow-ups, and closing deals to meet monthly retail targets.
- Maintain and update all customer interactions, bookings, and sales pipelines accurately within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Guide customers through financing options, insurance selection, and vehicle exchange evaluations to provide a comprehensive buying solution.
- Coordinate with the workshop and stockyard teams to ensure a seamless and memorable vehicle handover experience for every customer.
- Achieve monthly targets for vehicle sales, genuine accessories, extended warranties, and other value-added services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate high-quality referrals and repeat business.
- Participate in outdoor sales activities, corporate displays, and promotional events to generate new leads.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and high proficiency in driving for test demonstrations.
- Strong command over the local language and English for effective customer communication.
- In-depth knowledge of current automotive market trends, technical specifications, and competitor products.
- Experience working with target-driven KPIs in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and digital lead management tools.
Preferred
- Prior experience with a reputed automotive OEM brand (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors).
- Specialized training in automotive sales techniques or customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of retail finance documentation and IRDA insurance processes.
