Mechanic

This role is responsible for the precise maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of customer vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. You will work within a high-volume service facility, playing a critical role in upholding brand quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, oil changes, and periodic servicing as per OEM guidelines.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and software.

• Conduct thorough inspections and report necessary repairs to the Service Advisor.

• Ensure all repair work is completed within the stipulated turnaround time while maintaining quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and environmental protocols.

• Document technical findings accurately within the Dealer Management System (DMS).

• Participate in regular technical training sessions provided by the OEM to stay updated on new product launches.

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

• 1-3 years of proven experience in an authorized workshop environment.

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic scanners.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.

• Strong understanding of engine systems, braking, suspension, and transmission.

• Valid two-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

• Prior experience working with two-wheeler scooter brands.

• Familiarity with fuel injection systems.

• Basic understanding of EV battery safety and maintenance protocols.

Qualifications

Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

Work Environment

On-site, full-time position in a modern workshop facility, operating 6 days a week with standard shift timings.
