This role focuses on managing end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to support the workforce requirements of a high-volume automotive dealership network. It involves identifying, screening, and onboarding top-tier talent for sales, service, and administrative departments while ensuring alignment with OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates for diverse roles including Sales Executives, Service Advisors, and ITI Technicians through portals like Naukri, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate suitability, communication skills, and cultural fit within the automotive industry.
- Coordinate with Department Heads to understand manpower gaps and define specific technical requirements for workshop and showroom staff.
- Manage the complete onboarding lifecycle, including document collection, reference checks, and coordination of background verification processes.
- Maintain a robust talent pipeline for high-turnover positions to ensure minimal disruption in dealership operations.
- Organize and represent the company at campus recruitment drives in ITI colleges and polytechnic institutes for technical trainee roles.
- Prepare and update daily/weekly recruitment MIS reports tracking open positions, interview stages, and joining status.
- Assist in the release of offer letters and ensure smooth transition of candidates from recruitment to the induction phase.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in core recruitment, preferably within the automotive, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- Hands-on experience with job portals, social media hiring, and employee referral programs.
- Strong understanding of automotive job roles such as Sales Consultants, Technicians, and Service Managers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local regional language.
- Ability to handle high-volume recruitment cycles and multi-task across different departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for maintaining recruitment trackers.
Preferred
- Prior experience working in an HR role for an authorized automobile dealership (2W/4W/CV).
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance related to hiring.

Work Environment
On-site role based at the dealership hub/corporate office; standard 6-day work week (9 AM - 6 PM).
