This role involves performing high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will work within a fast-paced workshop environment to deliver excellent service standards in line with OEM guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups according to manufacturer service schedules.
- Execute complex repairs on engine, transmission, suspension, and steering systems with precision.
- Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to interpret fault codes and resolve technical glitches.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Ensure the workshop area remains clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide accurate technical feedback and estimated completion times for customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance within an authorized dealership or independent workshop.
- Proficiency in using automotive hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic scanners.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Commitment to working 6 days a week in a workshop environment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with specific OEM brands.
- Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) battery systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local regional language.

Qualifications
Education: ITI (Automobile/Mechanical/Electrician) or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

Certifications: ITI/Diploma certificate, OEM-specific training certificates (preferred), High-voltage safety certification (optional)
Work Environment
On-site, full-time role based in a modern automotive workshop, typically operating between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, 6 days a week.
