This leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring strict adherence to OEM processes at the branch level. The successful candidate will foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members, and manage the P&L to achieve regional growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire branch sales team, ensuring daily attendance and high-level performance across all sales executives.
- Monitor and audit adherence to OEM sales processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service quality.
- Analyze monthly sales data and KPIs to identify gaps, implementing corrective actions to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
- Oversee inventory management, including vehicle stock levels, demo vehicle maintenance, and yard management.
- Drive the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) by monitoring the end-to-end customer journey from enquiry to delivery.
- Manage branch-level P&L, including operational expenses, resource allocation, and profitability targets.
- Conduct daily morning briefings and periodic training sessions to upskill the sales force on product knowledge and negotiation techniques.
- Liaise with OEM regional managers to ensure alignment with brand marketing initiatives and network standards.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in automotive retail or dealership management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in an authorized passenger or commercial vehicle dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and CRM tools.
- Strong understanding of automotive finance, insurance, and exchange processes.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments and resolve escalated customer grievances.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
Preferred
- Prior experience managing a team of 15+ sales personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to improve branch profitability through lean operations.
- Strong local network and understanding of the regional automotive market.
