This role acts as the vital link between customers, insurance companies, and the workshop technical team to manage accident repair processes. It focuses on delivering accurate damage assessments while ensuring a seamless insurance claim experience for vehicle owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and opening detailed job cards for accidental and bodywork repairs.
- Preparing precise cost estimates for labor and parts using the Dealer Management System (DMS) and OEM parts catalogs.
- Liaising with insurance surveyors to facilitate vehicle inspections, claim approvals, and documentation.
- Explaining the technical repair process and insurance policy terms, including depreciation and deductibles, to customers.
- Monitoring the workflow of denting, painting, and polishing departments to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Providing regular proactive updates to customers regarding the status of their insurance claims and vehicle repairs.
- Finalizing invoices and ensuring all insurance-related formalities and gate passes are completed for vehicle delivery.
- Managing the procurement of bodyshop-specific parts and consumables in coordination with the spare parts department.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Service Advisor or Bodyshop Advisor in an authorized dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of motor insurance claim procedures, including cashless and reimbursement processes.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline, SAP, or OEM-specific software.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language to handle diverse customer interactions.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure workshop environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license for moving vehicles within the workshop premises.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Certification in insurance claim management or IRDA basic training.
- Basic understanding of paint chemistry and denting technologies.

Qualifications
Education: Diploma or ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; Graduate in any stream with relevant experience is also eligible.

Certifications: OEM Bodyshop Advisor Certification, Insurance Process Training Certificate
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based in a modern workshop facility. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with high customer interaction.
